On January 30th from 5-7pm, this collaborative event between Omaha ForUs and Black & Pink is designed to start the year with purpose and care in honor of Trans Inside Member Day of Action on January 22nd. Participants will assist with processing letters sent to Black & Pink by incarcerated LGBTQ+ folks, many of whom are in need of community connection and affirmation. 

In addition to supporting this crucial work, we’ll take time to practice wellness together — offering tools and resources to help participants ground themselves while engaging in emotional and impactful labor. 

This event is a beautiful blend of mutual aid, restorative justice, and community care. Let’s uplift each other while making a meaningful impact for our LGBTQ+ siblings on the inside. 💌🏳️‍⚧
